Home nurse’s car broken into while on the job

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A home health care worker says her car was broken into while she was on the job.

The victim told police she parked in the 100 block of East Monument Avenue around 4 p.m. Friday when she was visiting a client’s home. She said when she got back to her car around 8:30 p.m. she found that someone had broken into her car and stolen her stereo.

Police said it appeared the suspect attempted to pry open both front doors and eventually got inside the vehicle.

The victim also said she believed the suspect may have driven her car and parked it back in the same spot because the mileage was different from when she left the car.

Police are still investigating the incident.
