KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – A Kettering woman working in her yard was bit by a neighbor’s dog Monday.

Police say a little girl left the door open and the dog ran out of its house in the 2700 block of Meadow Park Drive.

They say it ran down two houses down and bit the neighbor.

Several neighbors say the dog is usually very docile, so they can’t figure out why it happened.

The victim suffered puncture wounds, but she’ll be fine.

Kettering’s Animal Control did investigate, but the dog was not removed.

No one was cited.
