Police: Stolen ATM box turns up near school

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are trying to piece together how an ATM got from a Dayton store to a school.

A police report indicates that a woman found the box near the Jackson Center Academy in the 300 block of Abbey Avenue Sunday.

Police say the ATM was stolen from the Roses store on Siebenthaler Avenue a couple weeks ago.

Officers are investigating and processing the box for fingerprints.
