DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Miami Valley is in line for some thunderstorms late this evening.
Our area has an elevated risk for severe weather.
A cold front is approaching that could bring some strong to severe storms with it.
“We could see some isolated storms pop up during the late afternoon, but it will be more widespread as the evening moves on, ” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik. “I think most storms would fire up after 6:00 p.m. into the the overnight hours.”
Look for heavy rain and damaging winds with this threat.
Dry weather should return for the Wednesday morning commute. We could also hit the 90 degree mark by week’s end.
