BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The state fire marshal has been called to a fire on Bookwalter Avenue in Bethel Township.

The latest fire started around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday.

The house first caught fire on Sunday. Jacob King, Bethel Township Fire Chief, says coming back to a house that has caught fire once raises an eyebrow.

Sunday’s fire began in the front bedroom. Officials say an electrical issue may be to blame.

Gas and electric were shutoff after Sunday’s fire. Fire officials haven’t determined the cause of Tuesday’s fire.

No other houses were damaged. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
