HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Kent State University is offering counseling services after the sudden death of a Wayne High School graduate.

21-year-old Jason Bitsko died at his off campus home Wednesday morning.

Bitsko, a student-athlete, was scheduled as a starter at the center position this coming football season.

The coach said Thursday that he hopes the team will be able to travel to Huber Heights to pay their respects.

The team is also expected to wear Bitsko’s number ’54’ on their helmets this season to honor his memory.

A cause of death is pending.
