CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Centerville police have identified the man who entered a school building unannounced.

Police say he was ID’d based on a description of the car he was driving.

Officers interviewed the man about why he was at Weller Elementary and Primary Village North.

They did not disclose the man’s explanation, but have stopped short of filing any charges against him.

Investigators are still looking into the man’s allegations, so will not release his name.

Police say he poses no danger.

An alert secretary spotted the man walking into Primary Village North Tuesday and alerted authorities.

He was also seen wandering around Weller Elementary.
