Trotwood man found guilty in deadly crash

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Trotwood man was found guilty Thursday on all counts for his role in a deadly 2011 crash.

Prosecutors said Ryan Hayes, 33, was drunk when he drove into a closed section of Hoover Avenue in Dayton and crashed into construction equipment in 2011.

His girlfriend, 33-year-old Qadriyyah Harvey, was killed instantly.

He was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and OVI.
