DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Another gun was confiscated from the Dayton International Airport.

Security officers at the checkpoint found the gun inside a man’s carry-on luggage Wednesday.

The gun was loaded with a magazine of hollow point bullets.

A police report indicates that the man apologized for having the weapon in his luggage. He told officers he forgot it was in there.

The report goes on to confirm that the man does have a conceal carry permit issued through Darke County.

The gun was confiscated and the owner was allowed to make his flight.

Police are investigating whether any charges will be filed.
