Dayton man arrested for rural Ohio stabbing

WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man is accused of stabbing a man in Scioto County, Ohio.

Alexander Dillard, 40, is charged with felonious assault.

The sheriff says it appears from the crime scene that Dillard forced himself into a home and stabbed Leo Buggs, 34, of Columbus.

Buggs is hospitalized in Cable County Hospital.

Dillard is scheduled into Portsmouth Municipal Court. He is being held in jail on bond.

The sheriff says formal charges are expected once a grand jury meets.
