DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton police are looking for a knife wielding suspect who reportedly threatened a woman.
Police were called to 65 McOwen Street just before 7 a.m. Saturday on an assault call.

The victim said she pushed away and cut her finger on the knife.
A neighbor heard the struggle and came out of her home and yelled at the suspect that the police were on their way.
The suspect ran from the scene and in doing so nearly got hit by a car.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, approximately 5’10” with a thin build and short twisted braids in his hair. The victim said he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red writing and symbols on the front and black pants.
