Prosecutors: Suspect dragged dead woman

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man is now formally charged with murder.

Prosecutors charged Ronald Winton, Jr., 53, in the murder of Tasha Bonner in February.

Investigators say Winton was seen dragging a woman’s body inside an apartment building on Woodward Avenue.

They say police found Bonner dead by strangulation inside Winton’s apartment. They believe she was dragged from her apartment on Riverview Terrace.

Winton, Jr. is charged with a count of murder and a count felonious assault.
