A line of storms moves across the Miami Valley


DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A line of thunderstorms are moving across the Miami Valley.

The line started with a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northern Mercer County that lasted until 5:15 p.m.

2 NEWS Chief Meteorologist says the storms are weakening as they move to the southeast, but there is still the potential for severe weather to develop.

For Wednesday, a weak cool front will slide southward across the region. The front could set off a shower or thunderstorm overnight.

The slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm will continue on Wednesday.
