DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police found dozens of televisions in the basement of a Dayton home.

Officers were called to a house in the 2400 block of East Third Street Wednesday evening after complaints that people were wandering in and out at all hours.

Police say they found evidence of drug use in the house, but also evidence that the occupants were stealing water.

A police report indicates that the officers say water lines rigged throughout the house, but no water meter outside.

The report then says officers found 37 flat-screen televisions and 10 computer monitors in the basement.

Sharon France, 52, was arrested on theft charges. The other owner of the home, Christopher DeCosta, is being sought on the same charge.

Police are now investigating how the televisions got there.
