Police: Woman held at knifepoint

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton woman was able to fight off an attacker, but she still lost her laptop.

Dayton police responded to an aggravated burglary early Tuesday morning in the 300 block of Gramont Avenue.

The police report says the woman told them she was forced back into her house.

She told police the man put a knife to her throat and demanded money.

According to the report, the robber got away with only a laptop computer.

The victim described her attacker as wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and a bandana over his face at the time of the attack.

He is described as 25 to 30 years old, 5’6″ to 5’8″, about 160 pounds with a full beard.
