Police search for road rage suspects

MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – An apparent road rage incident ended with the death of a Miami Township man over the weekend.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identifies the victim as Jason Behnken, 41.

The assault is being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators say Behnken was trying to intervene in a road rage incident that came to a stop outside of his home Saturday at a mobile home park in the 8700 block of Dayton-Cincinnati Pike.

Police say he was hit in the head with a pipe during a fight.  He died a short time later.

Miami Township police released a photo of the style of truck they believe the suspect was driving.  It is a red, Chevy pickup.

The suspect is described as 25 to 35 years old, 5’10” to 6’0″, with a thin build and short brown hair.

A female was also in the truck she is described as 5’4″ to 5’8″, 115 to 140 pounds with long, dark hair to the middle of her back.  It is possible that the woman’s name is Jessica.
