Convicted sex offender charged again

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A convicted sexual offender out on parole is now accused of touching two boys inappropriately.

William Schlemmer, 46, is charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition.

Deputies say the mother of a boy and his friend called police to report the incident.

She told deputies Schlemmer was a new friend to the family.

Deputies say he confessed to touching the boys during an interview with officers.

Schlemmer is on parole right now for juvenile rape. He is a registered sex offender with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

He is being held in the Clark County Jail.
