DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A heroin summit is underway in Dayton including key leaders from our community.

Ohio Attorney Mike Dewine is leading a discussion about the heroin epidemic that is plaguing our area.

Several law enforcement agencies from around the state are there including the Dayton Police Department.

Nearly 30 health care providers are joining the discussion to share ideas of how to collaborate with law enforcement to reduce the number of people addicted to the drug.
