Police: ‘Officer, there is heroin between my butt cheeks’

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A drug suspect arrested during a traffic stop in Dayton apparently hid his stash in a rather unusual place.

Dayton police filed a report that says officers stopped a car after spotting it an alley known for drug activity. Officers say they saw two syringes tossed from the car window during the stop.

According to the report, Kathy Elam, 35 and David Elam, 38 were stopped at 1 Gordon Street Wednesday afternoon.

David Elam reportedly told officers he had heroin hidden in his butt cheeks. The officer say they saw a baggy fall from Elam’s pants during a pat down.

The married couple both face drug charges.
