TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – The Troy Police Department is now offering a reward for information leading to an arrest for vandalism to some soccer fields.

Police say the reward is $5,000.

Officers say someone damaged the fields at Duke Park on Troy-Sidney Road August 30 by driving onto the fields and doing so-called donuts in the grass.

They say there was a substantial amount of damage to the fields.

2 NEWS spoke with several parents who shared their frustrations over why someone would do such a crime.

The reward is available for anyone who comes forward with enough information to bring an arrest and conviction in the case.

Call the Troy Police Department at 937-339-7527 if you can shed light on the investigation.
