Woman attacked outside of salon

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police were called to a hair salon after a woman reported being attacked in the parking lot.

Police responded to the salon in the 4900 block of Hoover Avenue around 7 p.m. Friday.

When officers arrived, they met with a woman who said she was the victim of an assault. She told police she was inside the salon when an argument broke out between her and another woman. She told police the other woman has a problem with the man she’s dating. She said when the argument sparked, the manger kicked the other woman out of the store. The victim said she continued to get her haircut. When the victim left the salon, the suspect and three other women were standing out in the parking lot waiting for her. She said the suspect threatened her before kicking her. She said another woman pulled her hair and all four of them hit her and slapped her in the face.

Staff from the salon came outside and broke up the fight.

Police said the victim was holding a weave which had been pulled out of her hair from the fight.

The victim was ordered into the prosecutor’s office on Monday to press charges against the four women.
