TROY, Ohio (WDTN) – An arrest was made for vandalism at a Troy soccer field.

The Troy Daily News reports that police have Joseph Trevelline in custody.

Police believe he is responsible for causing the damage to the soccer fields at Duke Park.

He is charged with causing $200 in damage at the park two weeks ago.

Police say a vehicle was driven onto the fields causing deep ruts.  The damage made fields unusable for a number of groups.

City crews say the two fields are closed for maintenance now for the rest of the season.
