TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Two apartment buildings were evacuated Tuesday following reports of a gas leak.

Fire crews say construction crews were doing renovation work at the Deercreek Apartments in the 700 block of Keswick Circle.

The crews thought they properly marked all the gas lines, but missed one and hit the gas line.

Fire crews evacuated as a precaution. Vectren was called in to make necessary repairs.

No one was hurt.
