Thief walks off with a stash of beef jerky

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police are looking for a thief who stole hundreds of dollars worth of beef jerky.

Officers were called to the Speedway station in the 1500 block of Huffman Avenue to investigate Monday night around 8:30.

Their police report says a man filled a plastic grocery bag full of beef jerky and calmly walked out the door without paying.

The store manager says the suspect stole more than 40 beef jerky products valued at $294.00.

The suspect is described as in his early 30s with tattoo sleeves on both arms and light brown hair.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the theft.
