DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Storm Team 2 is tracking a front that could bring severe weather as early as Wednesday afternoon.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of a strong cold front Wednesday evening and into the overnight hours.
“As that moves into the area , showers and some thunderstorms will break out and some of those could produce some locally heavy rain, and strong winds will be the greatest threat but we can’t rule out an isolated tornado,” predicts Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis.
“It’ll be more humid, and once the cold front starts to move through, storms could pop up,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik.
Thursday will see a chance of morning showers and thunderstorms, then clouds mixed with an afternoon that will be breezy and cooler, with a high of 73
Behind the cold front, much cooler air builds in. Highs may not get out of the 60s over the weekend.
