Officer Rob Roberts told Reporter Beairshelle Edmé, “It’s a scam. You know, they could– if a dog– ask ‘Have you seen my dog? I’ve lost it.’ Ask to do some work on your house. Just– often to see if someone will come to the door to their home and then they might go to the back of the house and look in the window.”

Green could face charges in multiple jurisdictions.
