XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the names of two car crash victims.

The crashed happened Tuesday night along Jasper Road in New Jasper Township.

Police say Chadd Sollenberger, 20, of Jamestown, drove off the right side of the road.  Troopers say he over-corrected and slid off the opposite side of the road.

His car struck a culvert and overturned several times before coming to rest in a ditch.

Sollenberger was flown to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.  His passenger, Kaleb Hegyi, 21, of Xenia, was taken by ambulance to MVH.

Troopers say both men were wearing seat belts that probably saved their lives.  Both men are expected to recover.

Investigators say it appears speed was a factor in the crash, as was alcohol.  The investigation continues. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
