COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Prices at the gas pump in Ohio are down again.

A gallon of regular gas was averaging $3.31 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s 12 cents lower than a week ago, and it’s down 14 cents from a month ago.

The Ohio average is lower than the national average, which was $3.39 on Monday. That’s about a nickel less than a week ago.

Among Ohio’s metropolitan areas, the Toledo are has lowest average at about $3.17 per gallon.

Analysts say falling crude oil prices have driven the decline in prices over the past few weeks. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
