CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A man convicted in an extortion case was sentenced Monday.

Bryon Mansley must spend 10 years in prison and pay restitution to his victim.

Mansley entered into a contract with co-conspirator Callie Yip and a third man who was hired to do yard work.

Prosecutors say if the hired hand didn’t do his work to Mansley and Yip’s specifications, Mansley would beat him.

Yip is serving a 17 month sentence.
