Man charged with injecting hospitalized son with heroin

GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A Greenville man is charged with injecting his son with heroin while the son was in the hospital.

Police were called to Wayne Healthcare Monday afternoon after a nurse reported seeing Aaron York, 42, injecting his 18-year-old son with the drug.

York is now charged with corrupting another with drugs and drug trafficking. He is in the Darke County Jail.

Police did not say why York’s son was hospitalized in the first place.

A grand jury will hear the case September 25.
