Pedal power turns over big bucks to charity

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Four local charities picked up $106,000 Tuesday night, thanks to pedal power.

That’s the new record total raised by the Young’s Charity Bike Tour, held in July.

2 NEWS Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis, Chief Photogtrapher Kris Sproles, and Anchor Mark Allan were among the many who took part in the ride, Brian helped with the check presentations.

The money goes to the Alzheimer’s Association, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, South Community Behavioral Healthcare, and United Rehabilitation Services.
