Baseball bat attack victim faces charges himself

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The victim of a baseball bat attack is now indicted on charges himself.

Julio Morales is charged with assault. Police say he was beaten by two sisters on September 7.

The sisters, Megan Howard and Stephanie Morales, were also indicted. They face charges of felonious assault.  Stephanie Morales also faces a charge of domestic violence.

Officers arrested the women in the 1300 block of Wyoming Street. They say Stephanie Morales hit and kicked Julio Morales while Howard beat him with the bat.

Julio Morales is accused of fighting with police officers as he was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is in the Montgomery County Jail.

The two women are not in custody.
