MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – More than 100 people were here at the Heidelberg Distribution Center Thursday in support of the governor as he rallied for early voting .
Several other candidates looking for re-election and those seeking office for the first time also spoke to the crowd.
The governor addressed several issues the state and this community is facing and his hopes to bring solutions to those problems.
He talked about the unemployment numbers he walked into when in came to office four years ago.
The governor told the crowd often that people who played by the rules and were loyal to companies got laid off, and lost jobs.
But with companies like Fuyao and Procter Gamble, he sees a bright future for job seekers and he told the crowd he hopes to keep those opportunities coming into the Buckeye state.
