Coroner IDs body found in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has now identified the man whose body was found in Dayton over the weekend.

He is identified as Rodney Thompson, 48.

Thompson’s body was found in the 300 block of West First Street Sunday afternoon.

Police say a city ambassador found the body while cleaning the downtown area.

Police do not think foul play was involved. The coroner’s office is conducting an autopsy now to determine the cause of death.
