CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – The toys of today and tomorrow are pretty different from the wooden blocks and jump ropes of yesteryear.

The youngsters at The Goddard School in Centerville have a tough job this week.

The little ones are testing toys. Not just any toy, toys that will teach them to be creative and to think critically, outside the box.

The under the age of three set will test toys, the older children will have to judge them – which is the best and favorite.

The Goddard system will look at the information supplied by these young testers and figure out just what children of tomorrow need to become top, productive students in the future.

The toys will be gauged by STEAM. Science, engineering, art and math.
