TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) – You probably wouldn’t recognize Roger Thomas just by his name or his everyday attire.
But, add in that Ohio State cap, red tie and glasses and you couldn’t miss him.
Thomas transformed into the famed college football coach. He was the spitting image of Woody Hayes.
Thomas died Sunday at the age of 75.
As his friend said, “He brought a great passion to the Buckeye Nation with his exact image of Woody Hayes and will forever be remembered for his efforts and the special role as LL Woody.”
Visitation for Thomas are Thursday, October 9 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home on West Main Street in Tipp City.
