Springfield health facility offers cutting edge technology


SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – The a new breast center in Springfield recently opened as Breast Cancer Awareness Month kicked-off.

Springfield’s Ohio Valley Breast Center is the first health care center in our region to offer 3D mammograms and whole breast ultrasound.

The cutting edge technology improves early detection by up to 30 percent.

It also reduces the need for follow up tests by 20 to 40 percent.

Ohio Valley Breast Center is the only facility in Clark County with a full-time breast care nurse coordinator.

The center is located on West Main Street in downtown Springfield.
