YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio (WDTN) – Thousands of people fill the streets of Yellow Springs for an annual festival.
Live music and more than 200 vendors drew the crowds for the annual Street Fair Saturday.
More than 20,000 people were estimated to be in attendance during the event.
Organizers say the Street Fair helps get businesses in Yellow Springs through the winter months when tourism is down.
“What our businesses tell us is that Street Fair gets them through the winter,” said Karen Wintrow, Executive Director for Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce. “We’re not an enclosed mall. We’re an open-air, street shopping area.”
