DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Pink Beards for Breast Cancer Awareness Event Tour makes its final stop in Dayton tonight.
The concert series held across the Midwest and Southeast United States will end tonight at Oddbodys Music Room, formerly McGuffys, in Dayton. Starting at 9pm, there will be live music from local and national bands, raffles, and the “Pink Beardo” contest. Pink Beards merchandise can also be purchased, with proceeds going to charity.
Pink Beards for Breast Cancer Awareness Tour was founded in 2010 after founder Michael Compton learned a friend’s mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer. He founded the concert as a touring musician, and stops this year were held in 3 different states and 4 cities. This year’s tour kicked off in Springfield last month.
Proceeds go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
