WPAFB, Ohio (WDTN) – Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown visited Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Friday.

He and fellow Senator Jack Reed toured the base to talk about its bid to be the Air Force’s new installation and mission support center.

The center would consolidate functions being done at every major base into one headquarters.

It also could bring more than 350 new jobs with it.

Wright Patterson is one of ten bases in contention.
