Masquerage raising money for a good cause

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton’s Party of Parties has people celebrating for a cause.

The 2014 Masquerage had hundreds of people dressed in costumes and masks show up at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Saturday night.

The theme this is year was “Dirty Little Secrets.”

The Masquerage is the AIDS Resource Center Ohio’s premiere event in Dayton.

Behind the mask, however, is a good cause for people battling a deadly disease.

“The whole purpose of this party, while it is fun, we really do it so we can provide HIV services, education, and prevention for those in the community,” said Lisa Grigsby with AIDS Resource Center Ohio. “All of the funds raised for tonight, a general admission ticket costs $50, that money can provide an HIV test to someone in the community for free.” provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
