DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton store was robbed for a third time Tuesday. The only item the suspect stole was laundry detergent.

A police report indicates officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Family Dollar in the 3200 block of West Siebenthaler Avenue around 2:00 a.m.

They arrived to find similar circumstances to the other break ins. The report says a man threw a brick through the window to gain access. He then stole three bottles of Gain laundry detergent and ran off.

This is the third break-in at the store since October 8. Police believe the same type of brick was used each time.

They are looking for a man in his 20s. He was possibly wearing gloves or had his shirt sleeves over his hands during the heist.

Call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867 if you have any information about the crimes.
