DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police are offering up an unusual solution to flush out a local graffiti artist.

The so-called tagger struck again in Dayton in the last several days. He tags his graffiti as “STD”.

The most recent tag being painted over is at Third and Keowee streets.

Police say he’s the same person responsible to two incidents at Pence’s Appliances on East Third Street in February.

Police need your help to identify the artist. They are even willing to give him a spot to paint a mural and complete his work legally.

If you have any information about who the tagger is, call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
