Police: Mom accused of biting daughter’s eye

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton woman is accused of abusing her children. In once case, a 6-year-old girl claims her mother bit her on the eye.

A police report indicates that officers were called to Dayton Children’s Hospital Wednesday around noon.

They found the little girl undergoing treatment for a swollen left eye. The little girl said her mom bit her because she put on the wrong pair of shoes that morning.

The report says a school nurse first noticed the injured eye and contacted Children Services.

Officers say in their report that the mother did arrive at the hospital and said she grabbed the girl’s face, but never bit her.

A 5-year-old boy also claimed that his mother hit him causing a nose bleed, then threatened him with a knife when he would not stop crying.

Natasha Norton, 28, was arrested on child endangering charges and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

Her three children were put into the custody of Children Services.
