BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the man whose body was found covered in brush in a Bethel Township yard.

He is identified as Joseph Graley III, 31. He lived at the property where he was found at 4415 Scarff Road.

His body was found Thursday while deputies were investigating his reported disappearance a couple of days earlier.

They arrested a man who was at Graley’s house at the time. Frank Bowen, who turns 25 on Saturday, is currently being held on a probation violation not connected to this case.

They became suspicious after interviewing Bowen about the disappearance and secured a search warrant that turned up the missing man’s body.

Coroner’s investigators say there is some trauma to the body which led to a homicide ruling.

The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about what happened to call them at 937-440-9911. You can also leave an anonymous tip on the sheriff’s department web site.
