DAYTON, Ohio (AP/WDTN) — Mike Turner, GOP, was reelected to the U.S. House, District 10, Ohio.

Congressman Turner released the following statement after receiving the support of the 10th Congressional district of Ohio:

“The wind is to our backs. Thank you to all our volunteers and supporters for your tireless efforts. Every door knocked and every vote cast made a difference tonight. Americans across the country and here in our southwest Ohio community want a new agenda and a different direction.  They want a government that grows our economy, keeps our country safe and works hard for the people it serves. It’s an honor to represent our community in the United States Congress and I look forward to continuing to fight for our families and our future.”

Turner defeated Democratic challenger Robert Klepinger and Libertarian candidate David Harlow.
