DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The man who police say walked away from a work detail now faces escape charges.

Russell Osborn, 29, is back in the Montgomery County Jail after making a run for freedom Monday.

Police say he skipped out on a work detail at the K12 Gallery on Jefferson Street in Dayton.

They say he stripped off his orange jail jumpsuit and had clothes underneath. He was caught quickly on a nearby street.

He was serving time on a drug charge and assault charge at the time of his escape.
