Teen arrested during Halloween checkpoint

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The OVI Task Force says a sobriety checkpoint on Halloween night was a success.

Five Rivers MetroParks worked alongside the task force along Harshman Road.

They report 2 OVI arrests and 1 drug arrest. One of the people arrested for suspected drunk driving was a juvenile.

A total of 525 cars went through the checkpoint. 23 were pulled over for more thorough investigation.

There were also several traffic violations handed out including seven for no seat belt.
