DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The CEO of the Dayton VA Medical Center is returning to the Miami Valley.
Glenn Costie will resume his duties Thursday. He was serving as interim director at the Phoenix, Arizona VA since July.
In a statement, the Dayton VA says, “Mr. Costie has a leadership style which allows both staff and Veterans to openly communicate and strive in a transparent environment. He has been greatly missed and the Dayton VA is looking forward to his return to continue to better serve our veterans.”
Costie’s first order of business is to reconnect with staff and patients in order to move forward with the most pressing issues.
Associate Director Mark Murdock led the hospital while Costie was away.
