1 teen suspect caught, 2 others escape stolen SUV

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) –  One suspect is in  custody and two others are still on the run after Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies spotted a stolen SUV.

The initial investigation revealed a red Chevrolet Blazer was reported taken at gunpoint at 4325 Riverside Drive Wednesday by three black males.

Deputies located the vehicle taken in the aggravated robbery in the parking lot of the Main Mart at  2423 North Main Street Thursday afternoon.

When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the three black males in the SUV all ran into the surrounding neighborhood.

A Montgomery Sheriff’s Office K9 unit was called to the scene and a track was performed.

The driver of the vehicle taken in the aggravated robbery was located and taken into custody.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center.

The other two suspects have not been located.

Investigators said all the suspects are between 16 and 18 years old.

Deputies said a loaded handgun was located in the vehicle.
